Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
SellerSupport ("SellerSupport", "we", "us") is a software product operated as an independent sole trader, registered at 3 Sackville Terrace, Garth Road, Bangor, LL57 2SG, United Kingdom.

2. What Data We Collect
- Account data: Name, email address, and eBay store username provided at signup.
- eBay store data: Your publicly visible listing information (titles, prices, categories, shipping policies) imported from your eBay store. This is the same data any eBay buyer can see.
- Competitor data: Publicly visible information about competitor listings including prices, stock levels, sold counts, shipping policies, and return terms. We only collect data that is publicly available to any eBay shopper.
- Alert & scan history: Records of competitor changes detected (price drops, stock-outs, velocity changes) and alerts sent to you.
- AI analysis results: Results of AI-powered product analyses you request through the dashboard.
- Usage data: Pages visited within the dashboard, features used, and scan activity. We do not track you outside our platform.
- Billing data: Stripe handles all card data. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
We do not collect or store your eBay password, eBay API credentials, or any private account information. Growth Agent works entirely from publicly visible data.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To import and monitor your eBay listings.
- To find and track competitors for your products.
- To generate alerts when competitor data changes (price drops, stock-outs, etc.).
- To run AI-powered product analyses when you request them.
- To send you daily email alerts about competitor changes.
- To process your subscription payments via Stripe.
- To improve the product using anonymised, aggregated usage patterns.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with any third party beyond what is required to operate the service.
4. AI Processing
When you request an AI analysis of a product, the listing data (title, price, competitor prices, policies) is sent to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o-mini) to generate recommendations. The data flow is:
- Listing and competitor data is sent over HTTPS to our server.
- Our server sends the data to OpenAI's API to generate the analysis.
- The analysis is returned to your dashboard.
OpenAI data handling: Under our API agreement, OpenAI does not use data submitted via the API to train or improve their public models. OpenAI retains API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, then deletes them. See OpenAI's Enterprise Privacy for details.
No personal buyer data is ever sent to AI providers. Only publicly visible product and pricing information is processed.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our landing page uses a Reddit Pixel for advertising campaign measurement. Our dashboard uses session storage to maintain login state. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking tools within the dashboard.
6. Data Retention
- Competitor scan data: Retained for the duration of your subscription to enable historical comparison.
- Alert history: Retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
- Account data: Retained until you request deletion or 24 months of inactivity.
- On cancellation: Data retained for 30 days to allow reactivation, then deleted.
You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing hello@sellersupport.io.
7. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
As we are based in the United Kingdom, UK GDPR applies. You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, request portability, and object to processing. Email hello@sellersupport.io to exercise any right. We respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EEA, EU GDPR rights also apply.
8. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights:
- Right to know: You may request details about the personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete: You may request deletion of your personal information.
- Right to opt-out of sale: We do not sell your personal information. We never have and never will.
- Right to non-discrimination: We will not treat you differently for exercising any CCPA rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sellersupport.io with "CCPA Request" in the subject line.
9. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with row-level security (Supabase). Access to production data is limited to the product operator.
10. Third-Party Services

11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
