Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
SellerSupport ("SellerSupport", "we", "us") is a software product operated as an independent sole trader, registered at A16 Byron Central, Byron Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE2 1XH, United Kingdom.

2. What Data We Collect
- Account data: Name, email address, business name (provided at signup).
- License key: A unique identifier generated at account creation.
- eBay message content: The text of buyer messages you process through SellerSupport, and the AI-generated replies. Stored in your reply history for 12 months.
- Usage data: Reply count, agent routing, and approximate response times. We do not store buyer names or order numbers as separate identifiable fields.
- eBay OAuth tokens: If you connect your eBay account, we store your eBay username and OAuth tokens for the Feedback Agent. We never store your eBay password.
- Billing data: Stripe handles all card data. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
- Style preferences: Writing style data learned from your modifications (tone, greeting, sign-off preferences).
3. How We Use Your Data
- To generate AI replies on your behalf via our AI agents.
- To maintain your reply history.
- To operate the Feedback Agent.
- To send your license key and product-related emails (e.g. trial expiry reminders).
- To process your subscription payments via Stripe.
- To improve the product using anonymised, aggregated usage patterns.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share individual message content with any third party beyond what is required to generate your reply (sending message text to our AI provider's API).
4. AI Processing
Message content is sent to AI model providers via their API to generate replies. These providers process content under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. Message content is not used to train their public models under current enterprise API agreements.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our landing page uses no tracking cookies, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, and no advertising trackers. Our customer dashboard uses session storage (not persistent cookies) to maintain login state only. We use no third-party analytics or tracking tools.
6. Data Retention
- Reply history: retained for 12 months, then automatically deleted.
- Account data: retained until you request deletion or 24 months of inactivity.
- On cancellation: data retained for 30 days to allow reactivation, then deleted.
- You can request immediate deletion at any time by emailing hello@sellersupport.io.
7. Your Rights (UK GDPR)
As we are based in the United Kingdom, UK GDPR applies. You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, request portability, and object to processing. Email hello@sellersupport.io to exercise any right. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA, EU GDPR rights also apply.
8. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with row-level security. Access to production data is limited to the product operator.

10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
